Catie Gehlert is an accomplished public relations professional with extensive experience in travel, tech, financial, and consumer work. Her journey began in the travel sector working with hotels and tour operator groups including The Woodstock Inn & Resort, The Kennebunkport Resort Collection, Discovery Maps, and other notable hospitality brands. She quickly transitioned into the fast-paced world of tech PR in 2019 working across both B2B and B2C organizations to develop traditional media relations, digital strategy and social media programming.
Over the course of her career, Catie has worked with brands including Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, West Elm, Outlier.org, Hisense, BentoBox, Liteboxer and others, leaving a lasting impact on their communication strategies. In 2022, she spearheaded Liteboxer’s VR fitness app launch at CES, landing the brand 30+ pieces of unique coverage, recognition by Fast Company as one of its most innovative companies of the year, and securing an invite for Liteboxer to attend The Wall Street Journal’s annual Future of Everything Festival.
Today, she operates as an Account Director at Haymaker Group, continuing to hone her craft for storytelling and strategic media relations. Catie has been recognized as a Rising Star in PRNEWS’ 2023 Top Women Awards and as one of Ragan and PR Daily’s Top Women in Communications Rising Stars for 2023. She is a graduate of Penn State University, currently based in New York City.
