Emilie Grace Cole is a communications veteran who brings to the firm a unique combination of seasoned in-house expertise, top-tier agency experience, and a successful track record helping innovators build meaningful market presence and GTM mindshare. As a VP at Haymaker and the business lead of the firm’s new San Francisco-based operation, she will help expand Haymaker’s footprint in the Silicon Valley market. Prior to joining Haymaker, Emilie built out the first communications functions at enterprise software leader Asana (NYSE: ASAN) and popular consumer investing platform Public.com, and led PR programs and public affairs initiatives for clients at Greenbrier Partners and LaunchSquad; she began her career in newsroom operations at KQED, the SF Bay Area public broadcasting station.
Her versatile background spans proactive, reactive, and crisis communications settings with a consistent focus on creating favorable narratives and reputations regardless of circumstance. A member of Mixing Board, she brings a deep network in tech and venture capital through years of genuine partnership and collaboration in the SF and Silicon Valley community. She is a graduate of Syracuse University, where she majored in political science at the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs and in journalism at the Newhouse School of Public Communications.
