The challenge

In the spring of 2023, healthtech startup Florence needed to move quickly to come out of stealth with a $20 million seed round. They recruited our team with just over a week until the announcement date.

After sitting down with key executives, our team worked diligently to build messaging, develop outreach materials, craft an embargo strategy, and schedule interviews. Due to legal approvals, we were ultimately left with just three days to pitch the news.

We successfully made Florence’s fundraise and launch news ubiquitous among key audiences, while establishing instant credibility for the company along with a strong narrative foundation.
